So it all came bearing spring time,
and a few pervasive days,
when autumn hooked the ground through,
and summer knew it's place.
Now the world screams and sings,
keeping it's feet near the dogs,
throwing scraps of all the winners,
to all the losers in the fog.
Let it all become so easy,
like you've never found,
These pills probably taste better,
Then the other stuff you've drowned.
Bring all your friends they loved you,
and sang like you were seventeen,
to the men who tore you up,
to see why you're so unclean.
Keep the excuses flowing through you,
like your hair at the park,
let your choices keep so untrue,
like that new years eve spark.
Now settle crying lover,
as we lay in the dirt,
such an asphalt riddled highway,
for such beauty in the earth.
Cry on a little more dear,
it's not like we should try,
we've understood too much now,
for us to say goodbye.
Now one last chorus ends us,
and one last words the first,
for a new map to be drawn,
for the better or the worst.
