Do you know who I am?
Do you know who I am?
I thought I knew who I was
A man with a high moral fortitude
Who stood up for others who needed a helping hand
Treated all people mutually in respect
Someone who could be counted on to do what’s always right
Or so I thought that’s who I was
Until she came into my life turning my world upside down
My moral fortitude within a matter of weeks was broken just to get closer to her
I shunned others only caring about holding her hand
All respect for others I put on the wayside
I have forgotten what was right and did unspeakable things that were wrong
The pain I inflicted upon others is now ripping me apart and is unbearable
