Namaste
Liberation
Freedom
O Woman
Come outta darkness
Of your mind
Full of deceptions
Of your voice
Keeping you in that rut
Denying the convictions in your guts
Your intestinal track
Of life digestion
Don’t return to your mess
Casting your pearls
Before the swine of your intentions
I’ll do it another day
Turn into another day
Of a rat race turned marathon
Keep running to exhaustion
With those bags on your back
She said pack light
You’re going somewhere
Nowhere
No one knows where
But pack light
Because your journey hasn’t climaxed
There’s more hills to climb
Bushes to talk to along the way
And bitter waters to be made sweet
I’ll make time stop for you…
Just to catch up, O woman
A letter from the valley
I’ll make you the milk and honey of life
I’ll make you the bride of the King
What I’ll do is not a question
It’s the authenticity of you ambition
In question
We didn’t come for money or fame
Just remember my name
When all is good in your ‘hood
Bright in ya life
O Woman
See me
I’ve delivered you from Shamoo’s belly
On dry land, take my hand
O Woman
Come outta the darkness
That is your mind
