Memory of an embrace
My breath, inhibitions, everything, gone;
Nothing is left of me, except happiness.
Nothing but a smile brighter than the sun
Shall be seen upon me and nothing less.
It was on a December day, a deity of Love
Stood before me upon my giddy calls,
I gave her my confidence and from above
Lights beamed down, breaking my walls!
Oh, she allowed her arms to move asunder,
Wrapped them around me in a calming…
Embrace. One would make all men fonder
Of this thing called “life’s true meaning”
If it may, Time, let it replay again for me
The moment most dear and most joyful.
I swear I shall be the best there will ever be!
Because of this scene I find most beautiful
Oh, I can finally move on, along with my best!
With this strength God has blessed upon me,
Nothing shall forestall me in this contest.
And with that known, my heart fills with glee!
Nothing is left of me, except happiness.
Nothing but a smile brighter than the sun
Shall be seen upon me and nothing less.
It was on a December day, a deity of Love
Stood before me upon my giddy calls,
I gave her my confidence and from above
