This confuses me a lot, but i think it is meant to be slightly humorous? I could be wrong. You have a very playful, rhythmic way with words.

there's absurdist humor/comedy underlying darnear everything I write
most folks 'don't get it', but I can't help it.
it
cuts thru the petty self-importance that we all kinda wind up making our poems look like they're saying: "Iyam POET, Center of Universe, Take My Pain &/or Hear My Righteous Rage"
anyway, this one was just a silly little paean to folks who've disappeared from "my life", (other than the dead), who I never imagined would disappear, (until they was dead........
