Animals, you and I

Does light shine over our darkness
Or does the darkness shade our light

Humans
A captivating fight for peace
yet so many prisoners of war
not one will be released.

Family
We all sing love and praise to our God
Paying our "dues", me and you
But I must stand and ask "Is this a fraud"

Animals
It makes sense, doesn't it?
We all enjoy a good rush from blood
Isn't it all for the joy of it?

A shady darkness shielded by light
Hope is sprinting far from sight
And no God will end  our intent for fight

Proud
Stand for a future, not a past
Show yourself some respect
Show yourself that we will last.
