Miss understood

I once wrote
epicurial poetry
then sliced them afresh
now I hate reading more than seven lines
but you I admire
as you say so much
in so little  

like a touch on an elbow
I gave a class gal
years ago
a German
till today I recall her say
....Misssssss seeeee...

then she wiped off her lips
no smile
no  frown
but silence came over her  

she knew I did not do it
on purpose

I learned  then and there
I am and will always  be miss -understood
As I always am
now and till today
