Lost Thoughts
Sifting through lost thoughts,
Sitting still in her mind isn't
the easiest thing to do
Does she dare bring to life
the ones she was hiding,
Even from herself
Releasing some from her cage,
Tucking others fast away,
Clipping their wings for change

That is really well penned Tommie Lynne.
I shouldn't pick I verse. Because the others do it for me as we'll.
but there is so much in the climax of a poem.
"Releasing some from her cage,
Tucking others fast away,
Clipping their wings for change"
I really like this. That last line sees it out beautifully. Kick ass girl.

Our memories and lost thoughts can be amazing in scope ... A compliment or courtesy from a passing stranger can be carried forever ... yet a seeming lifetime of abuse buried like it never happened ...

This stanza struck me to the heart:
