Religion or No Religion We Are One In the Same
I have no religion.
But in my heart I hold faith
That somewhere in the depth of our souls
We harbour humanity.
We harbour the ability to remind ourselves
That we are all one in the same.
I believe we are connected
In some Cosmic way.
Our lives are tangled
Through universal webs.
We have met in previous life's
Where you and I shared
A smile; A hug; A laugh; A conversation.
Our children ran under clouded skies
With laughter in their bellies.
We stared out into the openness
Of an orange and pink sun set.
The moon hanging over our heads.
The stars coming out.
The twilight hitting your eyes
The wind whispering in our ears
We slept holding one another
understanding that we were puzzle pieces
To a bigger picture.
When we awoke different people
In a different time
We knew nothing of the past
But felt everything.
Our hearts stood connected
Then,
Now,
And Forever.
But in my heart I hold faith
That somewhere in the depth of our souls
We harbour humanity.
We harbour the ability to remind ourselves
That we are all one in the same.
I believe we are connected
In some Cosmic way.
Our lives are tangled
