The Sun
all along a cold winters day
the sun shone in a most peculiar way
though the clouds tried to dim its light
the sun continued to brightly shine
upon the ground the shadow casts
a dark and dingy sorted past
but up ahead the light was clear
not like the light and thats dull back here
as the shadow grew oh so long
the shining sun hummed its song
a joyful tune pitched A sharp
caressed the air of the winters day
but the shadows are devoid of sound
never heard the hum abound
so all along the winters day
the shadow stumbled on its way
the sun shone in a most peculiar way
though the clouds tried to dim its light
the sun continued to brightly shine
upon the ground the shadow casts
a dark and dingy sorted past
but up ahead the light was clear
not like the light and thats dull back here
as the shadow grew oh so long
the shining sun hummed its song
a joyful tune pitched A sharp
caressed the air of the winters day
but the shadows are devoid of sound
never heard the hum abound
so all along the winters day
the shadow stumbled on its way
