I Like It Dark
Phantom hands reach from the screen
Seizing me by the throat to draw me closer
Taking me inside deliciously dark scenes
Places I'd never dare to venture
I am captivated by the images in my head
Like I've taken some strange little pill
Seeing things I wouldn't see otherwise
But, damn, I love the simulated thrill
I could almost feel a rush through my veins
Heart pounding loudly in my little head
Pulled through to another world
Buck naked and tied to a strange bed
Sometimes I almost think I understand the kink
The reason behind the fetishes she loves
Even though I doubt I'd ever try it
The poetry has made me it's little slut
Can't get enough of the odd pleasures
The drugs, the wild sex, that worldly path
It intrigues me in a way, always pulling me in
Yet I know better than to fuck with that
I'm content to stay behind my little screen
Live my life a safer way, in my own spaces
But thank goodness for dark, smutty poetry
Always grabbing me and taking me places
