Consume Me

Horrible, guttural, heart wrenching noise
Starts in my soul and erupts without choice
Rips through my lungs and tears out my throat
Brings me to my knees, heart without hope

Terrible, miserable, God awful pain
Fracturing my sanity, leaving me drained
My voice is hollow, I fall to the floor
I lock myself inside, can't take anymore

Vile, repulsive, unspeakable sights
Tear at my thoughts and play out my eyes
Twist in my mind of the things I most dread
My nerves are shattered in this body of lead
