Good Read

I'm waiting for a moment,
always waiting for something.
I get a little unnerved,
never know what I'm doing.
Accept the love you deserve,
not just what's given to you.
It's advice I can give out,
not advice I follow through.

So call me a hypocrite,
cause it's what I call myself,
and I'm a pretty good read
up all the way on this shelf.
I'm collecting dust in between
the hot mess guide and self help.

I think nobody hears me,
but it's not like I speak up.
I would rather be alone,
then stand up and clear my throat.
I know I'm not a child,
