Gender Specific
You flirt. You tease.
And with each suggestion, each temptation -
you remind me that I am not the preferred gender
That you like boys, not girls
You gave them up, those girls
And I am one.
I shrug, I smile
You reveal, your type...in vivid detail
Your burgeoning voyeurism all aflame
I note, I listen
Entranced by every word
Like a predator tracking prey
Hungry
Starving...but still waiting
And you remind me...
I am the wrong gender
Not what you crave
I wait, I share
A calculated unfolding
Like a flower slowly spreading its petals
(And no, the analogy is not lost on me)
A word here, a phrase there
Ahhh - there it is
That nerve
The one, that when touched so lightly...
So...sweetly...
Sets your obsession into motion
Wheels spinning
Passion ignited
And you think I don't know?
Those dark, lurid thoughts...
What you do in the dark...
The fantasies you believe you will never share...
I know them.
I have given birth to them.
They are mine.
You...
are mine.
The coalescence of two energies transcends gender...
