Pain benath the smile

I look into the eyes of the beast and I plead for an escape only to be faced by mortal terror that I am lost in a pain soaked wonderland.
Just like Alice I seem to have fallen down a dark unguiding hole, unsure of what lies ahead and I reach out for your hand.
You’re just out of reach as I fall endlessly down into my nightmare with no hope to speak of and no light to shield my soul.
I fell flat against my mistakes and I hear your voice screaming my name but to my deepest regret I let it slip like water through a hole.
I walk alone and ponder everything I’ve ever grown to call home, was my life worth the pain?
One thing I’m sure of is that unless you forget me….my twisted desire of depression will be your only gain.
I kissed the letter that sealed your fate; cuz behind my smile lays something horrifically vile.
All I want in life is for life to end like a lonely allay where a body lies, dripping with maggots and flies.
That body is happiness that was killed by society’s very sharp knife that also managed to get my wrists too.
Faded away before it consumes and devours you.
