For_________, my hateful dame

How did you do this to me?
Is it really that hard for you to see?
That you put a spark
Down deep in my heart

With every word that you said
Did you know that it would be I who you mislead
With every lie that you told
It was another card you would hold

Another knife in my back
One more feeling I would lack
Did you know that you had my heart?
Did you know you would break it apart?

But you came along
And lead me on
To play your game
You hateful dame

I loved you true
The breath I took was just for you
But you lit the spark
And left it in the cold damp dark

To wither and to die
With every wicked little lie
You broke my heart
Tore it all apart

How could it be that I let you do this to me?
To open my heart and give it to you rent free
You were a terrible tenant
And left cracks all up in it

Now I tell you
Get out we're through
Your welcome not stay
Now begone without delay!
