White Rose
A pretty symbol of purity,
a blank canvas since birth,
brightens one's soul invincibly,
captures the eyes of all wonderous youth.
I rather enjoy it's obscure silence,
the pearly white of a toothy, eternal smile.
When tinted red,it signifies unity,
but I prefer it's plain,natural profile.
Wears the cape of great humility
until it's time has,unfortunately,come.
Death strips it's dress of beauty,
and a naked stem is what is left. All done.
I will not cry over this pale jewel,
for it continously sparkles in many a bunch.
Always meant to be the odd one out,
for that,I never as so,scrunch.
You are an object of torturous light.
The black and red cower at bay.
But until your petals fall and wither,
they shall wait to continue their play.
I adore you, Dear,White Rose,
your blank gaze intrigues me.
For I am the only one who knows
you are the true face of nature's beauty.
