Temptation
The sickness grabs your throat
Takes you down to choke you
You're sceaming out for help
When your voice deserts you
With hands bound to chains
The silence is your only friend
Skin melting off like wax
As the candle takes it's last breathe
Desperate for a quick death
When the pain turns to torture
You beg to end this suffering
But there is no cure or remedy
It's not like a nightmare
Where you're safe from harm
Not a sense of pretense
No it's nothing you imagine
You know that you're awake
This is real, the pain isn't fake
The fear is alive and breathing
Stop being ignorant of it
Takes you down to choke you
You're sceaming out for help
When your voice deserts you
With hands bound to chains
The silence is your only friend
Skin melting off like wax
As the candle takes it's last breathe
Desperate for a quick death
When the pain turns to torture
You beg to end this suffering
But there is no cure or remedy
It's not like a nightmare
Where you're safe from harm
Not a sense of pretense
No it's nothing you imagine
You know that you're awake
This is real, the pain isn't fake
The fear is alive and breathing
Stop being ignorant of it
