Rekindling
Rose amongst the rain,
Lit in a soft red glow,
You've shown me color
When I was blind.
Forever valiant,
The stars watch over you,
Giving you their blessing on this night of life.
I sink my toes into the soil,
Our roots intertwine,
And now,
We may grow as one
