Cry for Me

Cry for me.
let your tears flow like strictured ice
gather upon dried aster leaves,
those droplets. laminate
regard as obscene art
testament to my iron heart

how much pleasure can I give you
how much pain
my lips, to kiss you
my hands, to beat you
my voice shouts out your profaned beauty
names you whore. and my desire

wrists bound in cracked leather
or metal rings
coarse hemp around your waist
fibrous needles piercing
delicate, brazened skin
slave collar of lace
around your bluebird neck.

what woman is this,
who submits to subjugation?
do you process thought? do you reason?
beats in you a heart
that can love?  love apart from torment?

my abuse breeds the welts
that decorate you
my cast off fluids make you pretty
only by such
can my despicable needs
be assuaged

suffer for me
as I suffer in my soul -

a resurrection I will never attain
