one nation

I pledge allegiance
to the flag
from which our country has strayed
one nation
filled with greed
still divided
and slowly crumbling

America
filled with lies
and deception
land of lost dreams
and losing hope
where equality is merely a figment of our dreams
dreams we are searching for

who is with us
when we are against ourselves
and is causing our own downfall
when we claim we love everybody
yet we aren't ready to let the rainbow say 'I do'
we lost our humanity when we don't help those that cant help themselves
we are slowly dying
our morals
and our foundation
failing
quicker than anyone in our government will ever admit

one nation
leaning towards damnation
choking on our lies
until the end
