Where Did You Go?
I miss your contagious smile,
I haven't seen it for awhile
I walk down the road we walked,
I sit on the curb where we talked
You show up frequently in my dreams,
though I'm not really sure what it means
I always wanted you to succeed,
but I also wanted you with me
If you can still feel my hand on your skin,
please change your mind and let me in
I never dreamed we wouldn't be together,
I thought that it would last forever
I miss us spending time alone,
when we were together, it felt like home
When I was in your arms, I felt invincible,
you were my eternal protector,
but everyone said we were bad for eachother
If we were toxic,
it's because I loved you so much it hurt
but, you listened to them
and you left
I never meant to hurt you,
my other half,
my soulmate,
I wonder if we'll ever be together,
but for now, I'll have to wait
I cry inside my heart for you
when I think of what could've been
I just hope that someday soon
I will see you again
I haven't seen it for awhile
I walk down the road we walked,
I sit on the curb where we talked
You show up frequently in my dreams,
though I'm not really sure what it means
I always wanted you to succeed,
but I also wanted you with me
If you can still feel my hand on your skin,
