The sun above
Let the water never meet the shore
May the foliage never acquire sunlight
That I may not be alone twisted by fate
Awaiting comfort by the summer solstice
Reaching out to touch the sun above
I feel the warmth but it is not attainable
Still a companion I would only dream of
With a satiating and unmeant embrace
The dusk taps me on my side as eyes widen
Dreams are only meant to be dreamed
Both including I chained only a breath away
Left to indulge of what it may have seemed.
May the foliage never acquire sunlight
That I may not be alone twisted by fate
Awaiting comfort by the summer solstice
Reaching out to touch the sun above
I feel the warmth but it is not attainable
Still a companion I would only dream of
With a satiating and unmeant embrace
The dusk taps me on my side as eyes widen
Dreams are only meant to be dreamed
Both including I chained only a breath away
Left to indulge of what it may have seemed.
