Words
Everyone has a story untold,
Secrets upon lies,
Upon misfortune,
Construction of that led them to who they are today,
The words they heard,
The punishment held against them,
The very core of their being held up by something more,
More then what they were called,
Or put through,
More then the battle field of school halls,
Those faces of monsters they knew wouldn't fade away,
They were more then those words threw at them,
From mouths of children they grew up with,
That rhyme that they all had been told,
Are broken bones worse then the words?
Their being degraded from people's opinions,
Lives tortured by classmates,
Never knowing what it would be like to feel accepted,
To be put down over and over again,
But always try to get back up,
Pills made of happiness,
Lasted but mere minutes,
Crushed by the thought of never being 'normal',
Pushed away by everyone,
Darkened by the light of their days they had to be put through,
But no more!
They are stronger then that,
They pushed through it despite the words,
The pain,
The misfortune in their lives,
They left their classmates feeling empty and drained,
Because when you try and put someone down,
You get addicted to that feeling of,
Power,
Hate,
The feeling of being better,
But guess what?
You're addiction is gone now,
You are the only one left,
Feeling empty.
Secrets upon lies,
Upon misfortune,
Construction of that led them to who they are today,
