Her Poetry
Silence in her room,
a blank page waiting
for the curves of her
dark letters to saturate
through to the other side
Freeing her thoughts onto
parchment rereading each
playful word, searching with
blue gems out the bay window
through the spaces in between
the branches
Touched by the warm light
from opened clear skies
her eyes close and the softness
of pencil in hand glide over
smoothly like the smile on her
face as she puts images into words
a blank page waiting
for the curves of her
dark letters to saturate
through to the other side
Freeing her thoughts onto
parchment rereading each
playful word, searching with
blue gems out the bay window
through the spaces in between
the branches
Touched by the warm light
from opened clear skies
her eyes close and the softness
of pencil in hand glide over
smoothly like the smile on her
face as she puts images into words

Love the hushed beauty you've portrayed here. And a good balance of dark and bright. Love it!
