An Elegant Cemetery (Part 1)
A thousand yesterday’s turn into a thousand today’s
Still the visions of your face won’t fade away
A thousand tomorrow’s turn into a thousand chances
Still the memories of your name won’t burn away
Bleeding out, You used to escape through my wrists in time
Seeking out, I used to escape through the pain brought on
Reaching out, You used to escape through the brightest light
Fleeting hope that I could escape the home we built so long ago
We stood upon the world, With the moon beneath us
As night turned into day, We would sleep upon the clouds
We gave the final word, In an epitaph of stars
As love turned into silence, We could no longer bear the weight
