Deceitful Love
Your look so deceiving,
Your voice so convincing,
And your touch so entrancing.
Temptation rises,
As I'm falling deep in love.
My spirit says to run,
My flesh says you're the one,
I'm having to choose,
Between me or you.
You're the apple of my eye,
for you I lay my life.
Little did I realize,
All you said were real lies.
I am left all alone,
looking like a fool.
All I ever gave,
was taken all away.
Your gaze deceived me,
Your voice convinced me,
Your touch entranced me,
As I fell in temptation.
Your voice so convincing,
And your touch so entrancing.
Temptation rises,
As I'm falling deep in love.
My spirit says to run,
My flesh says you're the one,
I'm having to choose,
Between me or you.
You're the apple of my eye,
for you I lay my life.
Little did I realize,
All you said were real lies.
I am left all alone,
looking like a fool.
All I ever gave,
was taken all away.
Your gaze deceived me,
Your voice convinced me,
Your touch entranced me,
As I fell in temptation.
