Some time for me

I wish I Could say I didn't need you
when I'm up late like this
waiting to talk to you
wishing to feel your kiss.

I go days with out talking to you
then a text out of no where.
Wondering how I am, what I'm doing..
tells me maybe you DO care.

Then again, it's been a couple days
since we last saw each other
maybe your wanting some therapy
just to make yourself feel better.

I don't know if I should feel used
or think you came to your senses
but I'm sick of my heart hurting
and I'm putting up all these fences.

I want to let my guard down...
justify it'll be better this time
maybe you realized what you'd be missing
that you were out of your mind.

So, now I sit here wondering
what I'll say to you tomorrow...
you'll wonder why I didn't call you back
I'm sick of the whole
 "you lead and I'll follow"

I need some time to think
you had your time, your space
now it's time for mine, I guess
This time, I hope you yearn for ME
   for days.
