Sonnet

Iambic pentamiter,  unknown to me.
Trying to give a sonnet a running go.
A layout understood,  writing I see.
Stanzas and layout, and thinfs I don't know.

Build to a pinnacle, strive for climax.
New styles of scribe, from lessons learned.
I hope I'm somehow, on the right track.
Outcome of a good write, is my prize earned.

The trial and error, of writing mistakes.
Tiny misfortunes of writing it wrong.
Trial and error, is what it takes,
New styles learned, writing gets strong.

New poems, written, seen and read.
Blood, sweat and tears, with a mixture of lead.
