Insanity Roaring
It was a perpetual battle
Between sanity and instability
My morals and conscience out the door
Just my core self facing the reality
No boundaries
Eventually the insanity took over
It fills every branch of my brain with short lived reassurance
It fuels my being,
my actions
my everything.
When it's gone
It's never truly gone
It stays in your mind
It sticks with you when you've hit rock bottom
It'll speak to you when you're trying to build yourself up
It speaks to you when you're at your strongest
It's with you till you give up entirely
It's with you till death
The only thing you have control over,
Is how loud of a voice you give it.
And I chose to let it roar
