Wasted Youth, Wasted Love
When your hands first touched me
I coud swear there was no better feeling in the world
When your lips first touched mine
I could swear they were all mine
When your hands held me
I could swear they had the tightest grasp
When seasons changed
Everything changed
This was no longer a romantic summer love
Filled with firsts,
Mistakes,
and most importantly
the undeniable and unwavering feeling of love
Within time
your grip faltered
your lips lost interest
and your hands found another body to hold
I coud swear there was no better feeling in the world
When your lips first touched mine
I could swear they were all mine
When your hands held me
I could swear they had the tightest grasp
When seasons changed
Everything changed
This was no longer a romantic summer love
Filled with firsts,
Mistakes,
and most importantly
the undeniable and unwavering feeling of love
Within time
your grip faltered
your lips lost interest
and your hands found another body to hold
