Alone in the Crowd
Noise
So many voices
Poise myself in the defensive for the oncoming onslaught
So many faces
So many people
Chatter tearing my mind apart
And yet
I'm alone
Alone in a crowd
So caught up in their obnoxiously loud conversations
I'm invisible
But
Invisible is not invincible
The pain of raging thoughts sears my cerebellum
Why
So many faces
So many voices
And yet there is no one here
So many voices
