Eloquence
If I were to pour out the musings of my heart for you
I would do so not in words.
For words, restrict, their value lost in clichés
I would paint instead for you a picture
Of how every strand of hair on my rises in adoration
When I behold you in my sight
I would stroke those paint brushes into a waterfall
Fresh and pure like you
I would paint you a picture of spotless stallions galloping in the wind
Your abstract beauty and eloquence I hope to depict
A garden green with life and chirpings of birds I would paint you
For the laughter and warmth you bring me
I would paint you the galaxy
Because you put the sparkle in mine
And finally I would paint you nothing
Yes, nothing for that is the sound my heart makes any time you smile at me.
I would do so not in words.

I would paint instead for you a picture
