The sun in my eyes
As I look around at All these Hard Case's,
I see the Shame and Pain and Guilt in there Face's.
Locked down Shut out and thrown Away,
No longer Free to plan there Day.
Prison life is All they Know,
No Card no Letter no Love to show.
Forgotten discarded and Tossed Aside,
All of there Time is spent Inside.
As the Hands on the Clock run backwards it Seem's,
Time stands still like sum Nightmarish Dream.
But someday the Gate's will Open, for Some,
And you'll find Yourself Outside with Your face to the Sun.
As Time goes on You'll Forget your Pain,
As you Watch your Children grow and play Games.
So don't Give up Hope for this passing of Time,
For someday You too Will be Free and feel the Sunshine.
