Depression To Suicide, Save A Life

They say depression is a state of mind
Feeling as though everyone has left you behind
No one to run to, no one to listen
Because something inside of you is missing
You feel alone and lost, empty and sad
Sometimes pain, and sometimes mad
With no one to help you it gets worse and worse
Feeling that your whole life is a curse
There is a light ahead but most are blind to see
So they choose suicide as their escape to be
Thinking all the pain and sorrow will end
Not knowing what other lives they take with them
Its sad to know that when a person takes their life, others love for them then shows
Not realizing a simple hug or smile could have prevented this, even just saying "hello"

if you have a friend who you suspect is feeling this way and not doing so great, reach out to them, help them, love them, be there for them, because one day, it may be too late.
