Indifference is the indulgence in which you crave
a craving that will bury you
dissolve you into the cold hearth of a grave
Serendipity was your best friend
and coincidental guidance was there to mend
the heart aches and the breath of the last decadence.
Mysteriously you watch the murderer as he stares you in the eyes
and the true monster waits in the dark in his familiar disguise.
