That's fascinating. Someone who seems to love the Latin language, too.

a career in Classics

Really! As I already mentioned, fascinating! I also studied Latin and considered a teaching career. Refrained from it when realizing how much most of my fellow students hated the Latin language. Came to forensic linguistics later ...

I really enjoy the emotion
and sincerity you put into
your poems...sometimes saying
little is enough....

I strive to say as much as possible in the fewest
words. And as the great modern poet, dartford, once said:
"..and saying that, I've said too much."

I just talked to a sweet friend of mine earlier about this exact thing. I looked on here and you had posted this. It really struck my heart. :(

You have every right to feel what you feel. You also have every right to reveal it. And so you do. Through your poems and paintings. That's a blessing for you and for your the readers of your poems as well as for the admirers of your paintings.

if not, my heart would turn to dust

Life is not always fair
