A Rain Drop
A rain drop so small and simple
Yet evoking a myriad of passion
As a delicate kiss to each finger tip from my suitor
Its slow and steady rhythm is calming to the soul
As the arms of my lover as they are wrapped around my heart
I did not know
This man, this suitor, this lover, this soul
Who is he one might ask
It is so small and simple to speak his name
At the same time evoking a myriad of passion
Yet evoking a myriad of passion
As a delicate kiss to each finger tip from my suitor
Its slow and steady rhythm is calming to the soul
As the arms of my lover as they are wrapped around my heart
I did not know
This man, this suitor, this lover, this soul
Who is he one might ask
It is so small and simple to speak his name
At the same time evoking a myriad of passion
