Feelings Unearthed

 The peace that dwells within her bosom affectionately brings relief to me; appreciating the melody of every song she sings, for I delight in her vulnerability.


There is no sweeter smell than that of her hair laid flat upon my chest; we rest in knowing the morning awaits, living out fates that test our faithfulness.


We cherish each coveted day we live to see as a reward for our belief in opportunity; filling the air we breathe with purpose, and laying a foundation that will grow within our seed.  


Never claiming to be the purest, just seeking future reassurance; wanting only to further our destinies while swimming recklessly against the current.


Not living by given standards, for we know the lands of bliss and grandeur are well within our reach; so we make the best of humble ignorance, while we educate ourselves in history.


As we enjoy our years of youthful energy, and pray that time never ignores our silent pleas; we remember that society’s verdict matters not, for only love can find us guilty.
