Dear Devil...

You stop and stare at the shattered soil
Some of it me, most of it you.

I've made every possible scenario and edited some bits out
To make me look like the hero, and you look like the lout.

I declare the Devil, who condoned this biblioclasm to a hellish grave...

Pistol whipped by the earths burning gaze
Masking all the potential shame.

Once upon a happier time I walked among these loyal people...carriers of my word
Now I can't because of these helium wings, that just make life worse.

I declare the Devil, who condoned this biblioclasm to a hellish grave...

I send forth my son,
To walk among the mortals that I once found pety...

Only to live a life of loneliness...
That'll eventually end in humiliation...

I declare the Devil, who condoned this biblioclasm...
To tell me...
Why should I be a savior...
A redeemer of souls...

When I can't save my own?

Sincerely...
God

~ Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ~
