Dirt road
The dirt road was dark, and desolate. Empty of any type of life, the sides containing old willow trees. I was driving my truck, nothing fancy, just some beat up ford. It was about 4 AM when i first saw the creature. Suspended from the branches, looking down at me with those red eyes. Piercing my soul, seemingly searching for something. I stop the truck, go in reverse, and its gone. No longer there, gone like the morning mist. I label it as my tired mind seeing things. But that thing, it looked so real. I keep going, to my house at the end of this dirt road. Only a 10 minute drive, nothing to stress so much about. It was most likely a bat, if anything at all. I see it again. This time in my rear view mirror. Its in the bed of my truck, just sitting there. It looked at me, and licked its lips. Its teeth were very sharp, and it smiled. I put on the brakes and come to jarring stop. I look again, and he's still there. Now i knew it was real, it pressed its face against the glass, scratched it too. Its,evil grin always there. Then it dissapeared, it was there no more, gone. I drove as fast as i could, but in my hurry i crashed the truck into a tree. I look out and i see my house, a few hundred meters ahead. I try to move, but my left leg is pinned. Then there inside the passenger seat is the creature, smiling at me with his evil grin.
