Pieces
Twenty million heavens await my pieces. Each one representing a memory lost. Shattered. Tattered. Like the familiar books shabby creases. To lay awake with my final breath. I burst into a million stars in space's darkening depth. I am the flicker of light that passes through your open window pane. I am the thought that distracts you from everything crazy just to keep you sane. I am a million shadows that spread across the floor. The wind that welcomes you as you open up the door. I am the smile that you see upon each smiling face. I am the angel that welcomes you into heavens beautiful place. A million pieces scattered in the wind. Twenty more million scattered to no end. I am the wish that you speak of as you toss your coin into the wishing well. I am the hand that picks you up after you have certainly fell. I am the food that gives the starving people their bellies to be filled. I am the one that gives strength to those who need to heal. Twenty million pieces I give to the world at hand. A million more I will give if each learn to take a stand. A thousand tears my pieces will cry. Will a million more have to suffer and surely die? Twenty million heavens await my pieces. A million more falls deep below the earths unseen creases. A million more scattered above and below to truly unfold. My scattered ashes whispering in the wind as my stories ending is finally told.
