For Terrance and Adrian

The worst type of goodbye,
is when it's for good,
yesterday we were laughing,
today I'm gasping,
for air,
must feed your heart.

I'm ripping apart,
I forgot how to smile,
no matter the weather,
the light won't make it better,
the sun shines black.

So long....loved one,
At least you're in a better place than me,
I almost feel jealousy...

I'm sorry.

The worst type of goodbye,
is when it's too late,
never answered, I'd call you
cancer spread in volume
the secret you hid.

I'm ripping apart,
your talent, your spark,
4 hrs of driving,
through puddles of crying,
you lost the fight.

So long....loved one,
At least you're in a better place than me,
I almost feel jealousy...

I'm sorry.
