Scenes of Fate
Grandiose scenery
Tales of woe are normality
Hearts are stolen; common thievery
Daily tidings of such gravity
Bring decency far aloft
Swords and stones
Words sweetly whispered
Friends and foes
Have always aspired
To rend unity apart
For their own purpose
Life's lust, greed's desire
Sprout in hearts hidden lair
Fruition comes when birth brings forth
The intimate things of priceless worth
And we see what was hidden
And bear witness to the darkness
That will bring forth the same
Sex
Love
Lust
Greed
Trust
Truth
Forever
A seed
Is small
Cannot fall
And must be searched
To be seen
Vile intentions
Cruel contentions
Hide that small grain
And it almost seems in vain
That some seek for that which
Might never be found
Brother betrays brother
And the servant, his master
For a morsel of bread
For the calm of the dead
Is intoxicating
Nothing compares
To the one who dares
To win
No matter the sin
The cost
All might be lost
But pride and greed take all
The triumphant revel
The defeated sever
Ties with honor
Oaths of the father
For another day of life
They might take up the knife
For revenge
Or vengeance
But calm rules
In hearts of fools
As they wait
For their day of Fate
Tomorrow
Full of sorrow
A life borrowed
Intensely hollow
For the fulfillment of their hate
The sun shines; the moon wanes
A mouth is full of wine; a man's bane
Days pass
Like grass
And whither
Until forever and a day
The sun may fail to shine
Darkness will reign
Wise will become insane
This will be mankind's fate
Above and below
Spirits rise
Death grows
Courage demise
With the secrets they hold
Depth of heart
Deep underground
Awakening starts
Passion is found
Fire and flame
Death and decay
Fate and fortune
Breath and dismay
Those who behold the death
Fear forever
They will eternally be seared
Their minds severed
From rational thought
From common sense
Their wisdom is caught
In the wisp of the wind
Far away
Far away
Far away
And what more
Can be said?
Death has its lore
And night its dread
Some come
Some go
To life's drum
All will be shown
To be false
A tale
All else
In the end will fail
The east bears the sun
The west bears its decent
The north wields a wind
The south wields a heat
And the fires will spread
Until death covers all
Life ends
Courage dies
Tales are forgotten
Dynasties fallen
Will rise no more
And dust will cover the bones
As terror has had its laugh
And the wind whispers no more
Tales of woe are normality
Hearts are stolen; common thievery
Daily tidings of such gravity
