Cry at Dawn
Early prepared I burst out on
my foot
To the place of work I trudge
with my thoughts
The readily companion of me
Then I saw her, oh there she
was
Weeping, shedding tears, deep
in agony
The extent she despaired
shows her plight
That wondering I began why so
early she cried
Could it be her child, hubby,
what?
What could it have been that
she cried in walk?
Too early at dawn before the
break of day
Now is became of me
For many a woman tears
unshared they shed
Bearing quietly the reasons
for their state anguish
Oh!! Let this cease, stop the
tears of women
For to God counts their tears
my foot
To the place of work I trudge
with my thoughts
The readily companion of me
Then I saw her, oh there she
was
Weeping, shedding tears, deep
in agony
The extent she despaired
shows her plight
That wondering I began why so
early she cried
Could it be her child, hubby,
what?
What could it have been that
she cried in walk?
Too early at dawn before the
break of day
Now is became of me
For many a woman tears
unshared they shed
Bearing quietly the reasons
for their state anguish
Oh!! Let this cease, stop the
tears of women
For to God counts their tears
