Patience
Patience
Is a virtue
Some would say
That I do not hold
Do not let
My silence
Be mistaken
For patience
Nor a blank
Stare
Be interpreted
As submission
There are only
A few
Not even
A handful
Of people
That I give
The only ounce
Of my patience
Like a
Boost to
My own
Stigma
Causing
Further
Damage
To it
But I
Give it
Anyway
Born from
Trust
Love
Care
Need
I'd tear
Myself down
Over and over
Just to grace you
With patience
It doesn't
Come
Easily
And I can't
Breath in
Enough
To keep steady
But I'll give
You patience
Even though
I've never had it
Is a virtue
Some would say
That I do not hold
Do not let
My silence
Be mistaken
For patience
Nor a blank
Stare
Be interpreted
As submission
There are only
A few
Not even
A handful
Of people
That I give
The only ounce
Of my patience
Like a
Boost to
My own

Causing
