Facets of You

Oh, to be a fly
on your wall,
to see you
in your dressing room
unaware and so innocent.

Your hair combed 100 times
your nails buffed and spied over
your daily routine revealed
a shower
the powder
a few last minute
excursions
for a last sip
checking
and then
listening
and then taking out your little friend
and winding him up to hear the whirring
giggles of your solemn slithering.

There in the darkness
fantasizing
the ambrosia
melon and sprouts
the open sea
and a few light touches,
your lips stifle a chatter
and a bitten lip curls
its seeming indecency
around your eye tooth
and you see
your own words
speaking in the dark,
calling out,
and a delicate insect
is all to answer
with his late come buzz.

"Bahz-acktly."
