Sleep With Me.
I like the sound of your voice through the phone when we both share a night pretending were right there laying with each other.
I like being able not to be afraid of the dark because your there to wisp the darkness away.
I dream of light or nights with you, when were far, far, far away.
I dream of us just lying there and hoping for the morning not to come.
Because waking up and not being able to see your face, is a cruel way to realize your not there.
So Sleep with me tonight and sleep with me till morning.
So We both know were not far away, they can take away a agenda of face to face contact. But they can't take away the nights of bliss, and alluring dreams that come our way.
Those nights when all we do is laugh and you try not to because you want to sleep but you can't.
"Sleep With Me." You say
"Alright." I whisper back.
Then we both lay there and imagine each others presence just there. We both close our eyes and listen to each others breathe, and we wait.
Then softly drift to sleep.
