A Fallible Man
He is fallible, he is a man
striving, living life, the best he can
A fallible man...yet-
Causing pain, not part of his plan...
He makes choices foolishly, using his heart
Thinking things thru, would be pretty smart...
So willing to enhance another person’s life
Messed up again, instead he brings about strife...
A man, fallible, doused in shades of grey
Not trying to be malicious in any type of way
Maybe he shouldn’t be hurt , and let them have their say...
So fallible the man but, I guess that's the way it go
The mind should’ve been stronger, heart ruled the day though
Realizing he can’t undo, what is done he’s painfully wiser now
Damned if he’ll let it happen again, no way no how…

I love the wisdom and introspection in this piece, poetik..read a few of yours before this one and I think you have truly matured nicely..you always had talent but you are really shining lately..lovely work :-)

Wise Words..luv that last stanza,can never go wrong if you follow your heart,even if the end doesn't seem to justify the means..if the intention was pure and good at the very least one can say,I tried..what i like most about this poem is it reflects human nature..afterall no one is infalliable,only human,therefore flawed...just have to remember "those who matter won't mind,those who mind truly don't matter"

At the time? I can't really say for sure becuz it was a situation where I wasn't aware what I did to hurt this person, but it was made abundantly clear that she WAS very very hurt... So I did the only thing I could do n begged for forgiveness lol... Thank u so much for ur comment :)
