Something like...Verbatim
Hmmm... Poetics... quite honestly
is taken for what's in it
but...let's think about this for a minute...
just how can we take this poetry thing
and spin it?
it's like a fairly decent challenge
to say it literal,
and then twist, and turn the concept
using your peripheral...
vision can be 20/20...
yet, still many who VIEW, can't focus
watch me regroup my verbal verse squad
and then send em out like locusts...
with a wave of the wand...
"Hocus Pocus"
'brain storms' fill the room,
puddles of messages are left
in the faint distance, loom
the cerebrum is seranaded
by a careening verse
something wonderous
and extraordinary pulsates... but first
it's time you witness a vocal storm brewing
WordZ are being formed verbatim...
ink's hail enters the abyss of poetry's lips,
now wet, I spit the musing
once captured by the talons,
the wisdom of the old owl
is released into the wind
hear The Poet 's mind again...
V ertigo fills up at this angle
E xtracting trouble-makers who want to tangle
R emembering a resounding resonance;
B affled by bare evidence
A llotted me an inside look
T o scrutinize, mental's look like a crook
I pull out my 'see-through-you' book...
M inding mindless measurements as I mixed it
in a mini-lab, (in miniature)...
VERBATIM, poetry can be like scripture...
is taken for what's in it
